Our Management Board is responsible for governing DPA in strategic, financial and organizational areas, while the Supervisory Board monitors the policies of the Management Board and day-to-day operations at the company and its affiliate, as well as advising the Management Board.

Management Board

Esther Huizinga (1967)

Esther studied at the National University of Tourism & Traffic in Breda. She started her career at Randstad in 1989, where she had various commercial, operational and managerial roles. During the last 3 years at Randstad, she was responsible for Randstad Corporate Services as Director. She was responsible for the commercial operations and advised key accounts on strategic HR, workforce and recruitment problems. Esther is committed and has a strong connecting effect on the human level. Highly experienced in the development of commercial end-to-end propositions and change management. Esther was appointed Managing Director (a.i.) on 12 October 2021.

Hugo Leenders (1971)

Hugo studied at the University of Economic Applied Sciences in Amsterdam and started his career in 1996. He worked in various managerial finance-related roles at IIR, TNT and DPA. Since 2010, Hugo was the vice president and responsible for group strategy, business control and M&A at Randstad. Hugo is a firm believer of leading by example. He is digital and data driven in combination with finance & strategy. Hugo was appointed Financial Director (a.i.) on 12 October 2021.

Supervisory Board

Ron Icke - chair (m) 

Ron (b. 1957) worked as an accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers for 14 years. From 1991 to 2009, he was the director of temporary employment agency Goudsmit, CFO of Unique International and CEO and chair of the USG People board of management and executive committee. Ron currently serves as chair of the supervisory board of ORMIT Holding and Domus Magnus Holding, as well as holding supervisory board positions at Heijmans, Star Group and VvAA Groep. In addition to being a board member of Stichting Administratiekantoor V.O. Zee and an advisor to Partou, Ron took over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DPA on 3 October 2010, and on 18 May 2020 he was reappointed for a fourth two-year term. Ron is a Dutch national and holds no DPA shares.

Bart-Jan van Genderen - member of the Supervisory Board (m)

Bart-Jan (b. 1969) is a co-founder of Swishfund, a business platform that provides short-term loans to small and medium-sized enterprises through the website He previously established Consolidated Media Industries (CMI), an international group of service providers specializing in digital media, of which he was CEO until October 2013. In addition, he is a member of the Bart de Graaff Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young people with severe physical disabilities in starting their own businesses. Having joined the Supervisory Board on 25 April 2013, Bart was reappointed for a second four-year term on 20 April 2017. He is a Dutch national and holds no DPA shares.

Albert Klene - member of the Supervisory Board (m) 

From 2010 to 2017, Albert (b. 1961) served as CEO of QSight IT, a company engaged in IT security, storage, networking and cloud-based technologies. He subsequently was a member of the USG People executive committee from 2005 to 2010 and responsible for the flex business in the Netherlands and Italy. Prior to that, he held various management positions at TPG Post, as well as having worked as a postal strategy specialist at McKinsey. He also acquired experience as a supervisory board member at Geldnet and EP Europost and is chairman of the supervisory board of Yxion Group. Albert, who was appointed to the Supervisory Board on 23 May 2018, is a Dutch national and holds no DPA shares.

Eric Winter - member of the Supervisory Board (m) 

After earning degrees in Economics and Tax Law, Eric (b. 1961) joined the accounting division of the company currently known as Ernst & Young in 1987. From 1989 to 1998 he was the director of W&R Registeraccountants en Belastingadviseurs (firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors), which he co-founded, and in 2005 he established the Nederlandse Interim Groep (NIG). After this company was acquired by DPA in 2011, Eric was appointed CEO of DPA on 27 April 2011, a role he held for more than eight years. Albert was appointed to the Supervisory Board on 27 August 2019, is a Dutch national and holds no DPA shares.
