Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

DPA and its specialized professionals help companies achieve their goals and take on complex challenges. DPA offers these professionals opportunities for continuous development and to fast-track their careers. We also collectively contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We have fully integrated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into our business model. We aim to do this as concretely and tangibly as possible, with maximum measurable results. These are the SDGs in which we expect to achieve the highest sustainability gains:

  • Good Health and Wellbeing (SDG 3) – through our focus on ‘Good Employment Practices’.
  • Quality Education (SDG 4) – through our focus on ‘Learning and Development’.
  • Gender Equality (SDG 5) – through our focus on ‘Diversity’.
  • Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8) – through our focus on ‘Learning and Development’ and ‘Social Engagement’.

Good Employment Practices

Our employees are actively engaged in ongoing career development and never stop learning. This keeps their work exciting and challenging, while they also receive the support they need, including career advice and coaching. They maintain a healthy work-life balance and love to learn and discover. As a professional powerhouse, we ensure they keep learning and receive professional support, because the world is changing rapidly, and the skills and abilities required tomorrow are not the same as those needed today.

Our core philosophy is that you need to give people freedom and personal responsibility. Working together and supporting each other is second nature to us, as is trusting others to handle responsibility and assuming our own. Diversity in our company creates a greater variety of ideas and opinions, and by extension leads to superior solutions. Through our HR policies, we aim to establish a fair male-female ratio. In 2019, 37% of our employees and more than 20% of our managers were female.

Learning and Development

We feel developing the knowledge and skills of our employees is one of our core responsibilities as a temporary staffing service. Learning, development and growth are the shared goal in our communities of professional peers. Ours is a culture where collaboration is self-evident and everyone knows their strengths and areas for improvement.

Social Engagement

DPA provides you with the opportunity to work on social challenges, which involves a whole new set of experiences and learning opportunities. Above all, you will find this work to be stimulating, satisfying and inspiring. We have teamed up with MAEX, an online social platform, and through them we support charitable organizations and projects such as Construqt, Project.BB (the BeachBot robot), Circular Green, JobOn and Buurtbuik. We also provide free legal advice to various social projects through the MAEX Legal Advice Platform. We keep finding new ways to make an impact and contribute to solving social issues. You can read more about these initiatives on our MAEX page.
